About Us
We serve approximately 10,000 members in Saskatchewan . Branches in Kipling, Glenavon, Indian Head, Kennedy, Montmartre, Odessa, Qu'appelle, Emerald Park, Riceton, Sintaluta, Arcola and Vibank. We are accountable to our members through a local board of directors who establish policies and report on results.
Investments of our members stay in the community, and are available for loans to other community members. Interest paid on the loans also stays in the community, which helps to achieve greater prosperity for everyone. Plainsview Credit Union is a strong supporter of the communities we serve and often join forces with other co-operatives to sponsor community projects.

How to Become a Member
- You are not merely a customer at Plainsview Credit Union you can be a member. To become a member you purchase a $5.00 share.
- This membership entitles you to utilize all services offered, and gives you a voice and a vote on the direction of your Credit Union.
- Voting is limited to one vote regardless of the number of accounts you have.
- You can also access all of our services without becoming a member, if you choose.

Deposit Guarantee
The Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation offers the following guarantee:
- All deposits are fully guaranteed. We apply no limits to the amount of coverage. Whether your deposit is $100 or $1,000,000, it is fully guaranteed.
- All deposits are automatically guaranteed. There is no need to apply for any type of deposit insurance.
- The term of your deposit does not impact the level of deposit protection.
- The guarantee applies to member and non-member deposits. You do not have to be a member to have your deposits fully protected in a Saskatchewan credit union.
- The guarantee includes accrued interest on deposits.
